GOTUIT MEDIA CORPORATION APPOINTS MARK PASCARELLA PRESIDENT
Mark Pascarella Steps into Lead Role as Digital Cable Providers Begin their Adoption of Gotuit On Demand
Andover, MA and Anaheim, CA (December 3, 2003) – Gotuit Media, the leading provider of navigation and indexing services for on-demand television, today announced at the Western Cable Show in Anaheim, CA, the appointment of Executive Vice President, Mark Pascarella to President of Gotuit Media. In his new role, Mr. Pascarella will oversee the growth of the company’s core business, including further expansion into the multi-channel video industry with Gotuit On Demand.
Through the adoption of Gotuit’s innovative indexing and navigation technology, digital cable providers will be able to offer the best in video on demand (VOD) services while introducing new revenue streams to their core video business. As President of Gotuit Media, Mr. Pascarella will focus his efforts on promoting Gotuit On Demand to multiple system operators (MSOs). In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Pascarella will oversee Gotuit’s day-to-day operations and will manage the company’s business development, marketing, product development and finance units. Mr. Pascarella, who joined Gotuit Media in January 2001, will report to the company’s Founder and Chairman, James Logan.
Prior to joining Gotuit Media, Mr. Pascarella worked at the Topol Group, an early-stage investment firm he co-founded with cable industry pioneer, Sidney Topol. As part of the Topol Group, Mr. Pascarella led Gotuit’s first round financing. During Mr. Pascarella’s professional career, he had also served in several capacities as a Business Development Executive with Procter & Gamble. Mr. Pascarella received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Bucknell University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
